Feldenkrais® - Awareness Through Movement

Moshé Feldenkrais (1904-1984, engineer, physicist, judo teacher) is the founder of the Feldenkrais Method. Based on his knowledge of neurophysiology and biomechanics, he developed a body-oriented, pedagogical process in which kinesthetic and proprioceptive self-awareness is trained.

In the development from baby to toddler we learn organically, through curiosity and sensory experience. The Feldenkrais Method takes us back to this experience. We train our brain by training self-awareness through movement. Mental and physical development are fundamentally related.

By consciously experiencing a wide variety of movement sequences, we can go on a journey of discovery to recognize limiting habits and welcome new possibilities of expression and action in our lives.

The Feldenkrais Method is delivered in two formats:

Group courses ("Awareness Through Movement") in which movement sequences in a variety of positions (while on the floor, sitting on a chair, or standing)  are instructed verbally. The fact that there is no model for the movements invites the participant to experiment and to explore the way of his/her movement.

Individual sessions (“Functional Integration”) are tailored to the specific needs of the learner. Through the use of soft, non-invasive touch of the teacher, movement and behavior patterns are explored and new possibilities and connections are found. The results are

often impressive and elementary changes.

Since April 2022 I have been certified to hold or instruct group courses ("Awareness Through Movement")
I offer these online and in face-to-face events.

In order to become a fully certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, I am looking for people who are interested in FREE INDIVIDUEL SESSIONS.
